Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mushrooms: Finely chop the fresh mushrooms. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté until they release their moisture and turn golden brown. Halfway through cooking, add minced garlic and continue to sauté until fragrant and softened.
  2. Mix the Creamy Base: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan, and shredded mozzarella. Blend until smooth and creamy for a perfect dip texture.
  3. Combine and Season: Stir the sautéed mushrooms and garlic into the creamy cheese mixture. Add salt, pepper, and finely chopped green onions or chives. Mix well to evenly distribute all flavors.
  4. Bake to Perfection: Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until the dip bubbles gently and the top turns golden brown.
