Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes: Wash, peel, and chop russet potatoes into even-sized chunks to ensure they cook uniformly in the slow cooker.
  2. Add ingredients to the slow cooker: Place the chopped potatoes into the slow cooker, add butter and garlic if using, and season with salt and pepper to develop early flavor.
